This dovetail design has a much longer precision capability over lower cost parallelogram designs that can have 16 different pivoting wear points. Helical cutter heads employ a 30x12x2.5mm insert that can be rotated 2 times for a new cutting surface and provides more stock removal capability when compared to square inserts.
